How Altitude Affects Chamber Pressure in Utah

Soft chambers are pressurized to a set amount above the surrounding air. Utah's population centers sit well above sea level, so the same chamber reaches a lower total pressure in Salt Lake City than it would at sea level, and lower still in Park City and other mountain towns. A chamber's ATA rating describes its pressure at sea level. If total pressure matters for your goals, ask us how a specific model will perform at your elevation before you order.

Planning for Winters, Dry Air and Mountain Homes in Utah

Winters. Keep the chamber, compressor, and concentrator in a heated room, within each manufacturer's operating temperature range, and plan mountain deliveries around snow.

How Delivery Works in Utah

Typical lead times: Newtowne and Summit To Sea, 2 to 3 weeks. OXYREVO, 2 to 3 weeks when in stock or 8 to 9 weeks when custom ordered. Volaira and OxyAir, 8 to 9 weeks when not in stock. Hard-shell chambers are made to order.
Shipping cost: Most chambers ship free. Shipping insurance is required on hard-shell chambers.
