3Understand Pressure: 1.3 ATA, 1.5 ATA, and Higher
Pressure is one of the most important variables in a hyperbaric chamber. It is measured in atmospheres absolute (ATA). The right pressure for you depends on your goals and your provider's recommendations, and Bradshaw Oxygen can help you understand the tradeoffs before you decide.
1.3 ATA: Mild Chambers
Most home hyperbaric chambers operate at 1.3 ATA, the most widely available option for home wellness use. Brands like Newtowne Hyperbarics and Summit to Sea offer well-regarded 1.3 ATA chambers.
Up to 1.5 ATA: Premium Home
Premium home chambers from Volaira and OXYREVO can reach up to 1.5 ATA, offering more pressure than a standard mild chamber while remaining designed for home use. Popular picks include the Volaira Ascend, a soft chamber you can sit or recline in, and the lay-down Volaira Horizon.
Up to 2.0 ATA: Hard Shell

4Know What Comes in a Package
A complete system is more than the chamber itself. Package contents vary by manufacturer and model, but a full system may include:

5The Prescription Process
Bradshaw Oxygen requires a prescription for hyperbaric chambers purchased for private consumer use. Clinics and professional facilities do not need a prescription to purchase.

6Financing and Payment Options
Soft Chambers
For soft chambers bought online, financing options such as Shop Pay Installments, Affirm, and PayPal may be available at checkout for qualifying customers.
Hard-Shell Chambers
Hard-shell chambers are made to order and require a consultation before purchase. After your consultation we send a custom invoice. Pay by wire transfer, or by card with a processing fee. Shipping insurance is added to every hard-shell order.
