How to Choose a Hyperbaric Chamber for Your Goals

Hyperbaric Buying Guide
The right chamber is the one that fits why you're buying, who'll use it, and where it will live. Start with your goal and the rest falls into place.
Four Questions to Answer First
Your Goals
What are you hoping to get from sessions, and what pressure has your doctor discussed with you?
Who Will Use It
Would they rather sit upright, lie down, or stay in their wheelchair?
Where It Will Live
A flexible space you may want to reuse, or a dedicated room?
Your Budget
What range works for you, including any financing?
If You Want More Pressure or a Premium Build
Our own Volaira collection is our flagship luxury line. The soft Ascend and Horizon adjust from 1.3 to 1.5 ATA, and the hard-shell Legacy and Haven go up to 2.0 ATA. OXYREVO offers the Forward 90, Apex 32 and Apex 36 soft chambers, which adjust up to 1.5 ATA, and the Space60 seated hard shell, available up to 2.0 ATA. The made-to-order OxyAir OLV-YT01 is a lay-down hard shell with settings up to 2.0 ATA. None of these chambers are FDA-cleared, so talk with your doctor about which pressure is right for you.

A seated chamber is often the most comfortable choice: they step in, sit in a chair and get back up easily. The Volaira Ascend, Newtowne's Shoe, Long Shoe and walk-in Tent, and the Summit To Sea Dive Vertical and Grand Dive Vertical are all seated soft chambers. If they'd rather lie down, our soft lay-down chambers have a side entry, or can be rotated so the zipper sits on top for a step-in entry. Compare both in our lay-down vs. seated guide.
If You're Equipping a Clinic, Spa or Wellness Center
Consider durability, how quickly clients can get in and out, and how the chamber looks in your space. Hard-shell chambers make a striking, permanent centerpiece, while spacious soft chambers like the OXYREVO Forward 90 let clients sit, recline or lie down. Wheelchair-accessible chambers also let you welcome every client.
Don't Forget the Oxygen
Many customers pair their chamber with an oxygen concentrator. As an oxygen equipment specialist, we can help you match your chamber with the right concentrator, tubing and accessories so your package works together from day one.
Before You Buy
A prescription is required for chambers purchased for private consumer use; clinics and professional facilities do not need one. We can help connect you with a licensed telemedicine provider if you need one. Talk to your doctor about which pressure is right for you, especially if you have ear, sinus, or lung concerns.
