Every oxygen facial starts with an oxygen concentrator. It pulls in room air and delivers a steady stream of concentrated oxygen to your facial sprayer, wand, or dome, with no tanks to refill. Many packaged spa systems are built around the same kinds of concentrators we sell. Buying the concentrator directly lets you choose the exact machine and spend far less than a packaged spa system.
No prescription is required for business (B2B) purchases.
Why Most Spas Choose a 5 LPM Concentrator
Most of the spas we work with use a 5 LPM concentrator, and for good reason:
-
It matches the equipment. Professional oxygen facial sprayers and domes are commonly rated for about 1 to 5 liters per minute, so a 5 LPM concentrator covers them.
-
It's quieter. Our quietest 5 LPM machines run at about 43 to 48 dBA, compared with about 55 to 60 dBA for 10 LPM machines.
-
It's smaller and lighter. Most 5 LPM units weigh about 31 to 40 lbs and roll easily between treatment rooms.
-
It uses less electricity. A 5 LPM unit like the Drive DeVilbiss 525 averages about 310 watts. 10 LPM units draw about 585 to 640 watts.
Check your facial equipment's flow rating before ordering. If it calls for more than 5 LPM, or you want to run two treatment stations from one machine, look at our 10 LPM options below.
Why Sound Level Matters in a Treatment Room
A concentrator runs the whole time your client is on the table, so how loud it is matters as much as how much oxygen it makes. For reference, 40 to 45 dBA is about the level of a quiet library, and 55 to 60 dBA is closer to a normal conversation.

Oxygen Safety in the Treatment Room
Concentrated oxygen makes things burn faster and hotter. These precautions come straight from concentrator manufacturers' instructions:
-
No candles or open flames anywhere near the concentrator, tubing, or the client while oxygen is flowing.
-
Use only water-based, oxygen-compatible products around the oxygen outlet. Manufacturers warn against petroleum or oil-based lotions, balms, and salves near oxygen.
-
Keep oil and grease off the machine, tubing, and connections.
-
Give it room to breathe. Keep at least 6 inches of open space around the cabinet, and never run it inside a closet or cabinet.
-
Clean the outside gently. Unplug it and use a damp cloth with mild soap, not alcohol or petroleum-based cleaners.
-
Keep tubing short and kink-free. Very long tubing can reduce the flow that reaches your sprayer or dome.
-
Clean the intake filter regularly so the machine keeps running cool, quiet, and at full purity. Our manuals and setup videos show how.
Using Your Own Facial Equipment
Bradshaw Oxygen sells the concentrator only. Your facial sprayer, wand, or dome connects to the concentrator's oxygen outlet. Before you order, tell Patrick what equipment you're using so he can confirm it will connect and recommend the right flow and pressure for your setup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a prescription to buy a concentrator for my spa?
No prescription is required for business (B2B) purchases.
What flow does my facial equipment need?
Check your equipment's manual or flow rating. Most professional oxygen facial sprayers and domes run at 5 LPM or less, which is why most spas choose a 5 LPM concentrator.
Are these machines new or reconditioned?
The machines shown are reconditioned. Each one is inspected, serviced, cleaned, and tested before it ships. Some models are also offered new or as demo units.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Our reconditioned concentrators are backed by a 1-year warranty from Bradshaw Oxygen LLC. See each product page for the full terms.
Can a concentrator run all day?
Yes. These are stationary concentrators designed for continuous operation. Keep the filters clean and give the machine room to breathe.
Which machine is quietest?
Among the models shown here, the Invacare Perfecto2 and Perfecto2 V are the quietest at approximately 43 dB. For 10 LPM, the AirSep NewLife Intensity 10 is the quietest at approximately 55 dBA.
